I just started a new project, its a 1946 Case LA, i pulled the head and found that one of the exhaust valves is broken. iv been looking around online for a while and cant seem to find too many parts for this tractor. Does anyone know where i can get some good valves for my LA. Also need to find a replacement for one of the fingers that the clutch bearing rides on. I found one at the bottom of the clutch housing. Thanks for any help you can give me in regards to my LA. Justin

Congratulatons Justin on choosing a Case LA for your project. Just last spring I just got done restoring a 48 LA it was about a five year project, a lot of work but when there done they really run great and look great too! As far as parts go they can be kinda hard to find but as someone else mentioned try Don Livingston and Also John Saeli 1 (315) 585-9826. Both these guys are great to work with. Over the years I have had good luck with Ebay also.sometimes even the dealer has stuff it never hurts to check with them. Make sure you get a parts manual if you dont have one allready because they are invaluable for restoration. I also have a 47 LA parts tractor so I might be able to help you out on that clutch part. Do you mean the forked piece that moves the cone forward and backward? If so I think I have one. my e-mail is open so feel free to e-mail me If you want to see pics of my tractor go to tractor photos on this site then type in case la and look for the photos by Stephen R. Good luck on your project and don't be afraid to ask questions on this forum as these guys on here are a great bunch of guys!
