Sorry to get off topic here, but I need a debate settled between me, my dad, and my uncle and I think you, ACG, mEl, or any other former Case dealer would have the experience to answer my question. When looking at a REALLY GOOD restoration such as the 1030 farther down, I believe these tractors probably look better than when they left the factory. I don't think they had as good of paint available at that time nor did they give them the time or attention that they are getting now. I have been told I am wrong(very possible) and that they took extra care to make their product look really sharp to catch your eye and outsell the competion, as opposed to todays new tractors (which are sold by how many more electric switches they have than the next color) and are pushed out the door as fast as the next one's out of the way. I agree about todays new tractors but want to know more about those that are 30+ years older than me. Thanks!

Ok lets see,first the "30" series tractors that came into our dealership new as I remember stood out among what we demoed against to me very brite/shiny and they were dependable also,I remember few warrenty problems,except for a few "installed problems" upset workers (strikes at Racine ),Case did put a lot of pride in fit and finish,decal's stood out,they really were easy to sell if you got it to his place for a demo you had a stacked deck , now as to lets use the 1030 in the other post,No original tractors looked that GOOD, my friend that 1030 is a work of art!! let me just say this those folks at Case were good to deal with, they had a great product and it was built to last I remember we had a one year no hour limit warrenty on everything don't remember what the other guys had, I don't know if this ramble answered any ??? as usual CASENUTTY Tom
PS I reposted this lit photo, this is what they looked like ,I also rember the thick paint on axles,hubs and new parts I belive they dipped things when they could lot of paint

Case Nutty 1660, I'm sorry to burden you, but would you mind emailing me a copy of the DE brochure? I have a CE, and would like the DE information and pictures as it's a pretty similar unit. If not, that's okay. My email's open if so.

DKase, I'd love to have a copy of the CE brochures! Any way you can do it would be great. I could buy the originals, pay to have you make photocopies of the originals and mail the copies to me, or pay to have the originals sent to me so that I can copy them and mail the originals back to you. What do you think?
