My Case 431 with 188 engine injector pump is in bad shape. I have a chance to get a injector pump for a Case 580 with 188. Will this work? The new pump is a Roosa Master DBGFCC-431-65AJ. All I can make out on my old original pump is DBG. Thanks! |

the 580( with a 188 or 207 Case engine) pump will bolt on but it should be set at 430 hp specs as the 580's were putting ot more ponies and may be hard on your drive train cnt |

not every thing is the same but with caution i have done it,, Case was pretty good about matching power train to hp unlike ih and a/c used to try ,,not picking on them at all just stating facts early 560's had "M" ring and pinions, wouldn't take that 6 cylinder power ect now am not trying to start a war OK cnt |

When the 188 was in everything Case sold we kept a rebuild on the shelf at all times. We used that same rebuild for everything. It was set at 450 crawler loader specifications and the people with 430-530's never complained about the power increase and drive train longevity was not an issue. mEl |
