Ken, Have you checked the surfaces for cracks, yet? I really am curious as to how that turned out. If your head or block cracked?

Bob have replyed on the orginal thread.
Could find no cracks so installed new head gasket and put the engine together ran the engine for a hour with no leaks.
Tomorrow will redo the valves and recheck if water is in the oil.also a compression check.
This is a easy engine to repair the sleeves show almost no wear and pistons are tight.
