Seat Cushion Question

I picked up a NOS seat cushion at a sale and a NOS frame on the internet. Just need a good backrest to round out the package.

Question #1. Does the backrest have the same color combination...silver on top, black on the sides?

Question #2. If I can't locate a good original backrest, are the reproductions any where close to the same color and fabric or are they all just a black vinyl?

Straw Boss, I came across a picture of Dads nearly new 700 that had same color as yours.

Forgot to mention the backrest cushion needed is part number A20071 prior to sn 8140001 or A20557 sn 8140001 and after. Anyone know the difference between them? The part books sure don't say. I presume a vendor change and if so maybe a style/shape/color change???

Was the backrest silver also or all black?
Sales brochures show the metal backing a desert sunset color but don't show the front view.

Backrest black and silver too. May have been replaced as 700 was two years old when he bought it.

Hey thanks for the info. Most of my tractors are 100 series or 30 series and don't have that style seat so I don't have anything to go by. I wondered if you would recognize that cushion if I put it on here.

Originally on the 800 I know the backrest was black around the edge with the textured silver insert,the metal back was desert sunset.With a bottom just like the one you have.

There is another company that also makes replacement seats but I forgot the name. Joe Young knows the name and uses them they are all black but look closer to original in shape and size.

They are not cheap but appear to be good quality. The sales personnel were very helpful each time I called. They sell direct as well as through a dealer network.

I don't have much in the way of NOS parts but I'm often looking for them.
