Picked it up on friday, saved from the scrapper coming monday. I want to run it around but don't know much about the # series as I only have SC's&DC's . Key is missing and I don't know what the 2 levers to the right of the seat do? It seems throttle is left on dash and on the right operates a piston? any help would be appreciated.

You've got a nice 1959 model 610B. The levers on the right side of the seat are for the tractors hydraulics. The inner one should operation the eagle hitch, and the outer one the remote hydraulic couplers at the rear of the tractor.
The throttle lever is on the left side of the dash. The lever on the right side of the dash operates the Case-o-Matic clutch. (Up/forward is using the torque converter, back/down is direct drive).
The tractor has two shift levers. The center lever is a 4-speed with a reverse. The second lever on the right side of the torque tube is a range shifter with the "low" position forward and the "direct" position aft, which make the tractor an eight speed with two reverse gears.
Nice catch. There was only 744 of those "standard" models made. - Joe |

Nice save. We never ordered tractors with straight axels around here (Central NY), everything of that vintage had rowcrop front and rear axels. You will learn to appreciate the COM tranny, and it looks like you will have a relativly cheap restoration in front of you. Good luck, keep us posted on your progress.

Hi TimBinWV I do need a few parts as a matter of fact all the way from tracks to a cover that bolts to the firewall and bolts to the floor. What all do you have? |
