I have an AC5045 with very jerky hydraulics. The service manual says: 1. filter needs to be cleaned. Cleaned(did not resolve) 2.Low hydraulic fluid. Checked, low, added, still jerky. 3. Air in systems. Manual does not say how to bleed. loosened lines on pump, cranked over engine until oil flowed out, tightened line on pump. No longer jerky, lift went up and down smoothly. Parked Tractor overnight. The next day, jerky again! What is the proper way to bleed the system? Could it be the pump? If so, why did it work well when bled? Thanks, Mark in TX |

You might have a o-ring bad, somewhere, or a finicky connection, that leaks sometimes. Try bleeding one at a time, then letting sit, might help you ID the bad one(S). |
