I like it. You're an optimist, hasn't rained much all year here, and I'm understanding not in your area either. But an optimist will know, water will flow some time. As I am thankfull for the beans I planted the tenth of July for the second time. It finally rained, and they have a good chance to make a crop. Have you gotten any moisture to have an alfalfa crop yet? My third cutting was just a weed clipping, and insecticide trip, but the forth will be pretty good. I could cut it now for quality, but will wait a bit for yield. My first was 170 RFV, so I was happy being new to the crop. Have a good one. |

That looks like it would be fun to try. I guess one of the few good things about no rain is you did not have to fight mud. Looks like a 188 in the 450. Do crawlers have a good speed selection? Rod. |

Rod the 450 have a two speed power shift that drive each track independently HI-N-LO so you can have full power in turns, then they have a HI/LO box also giving you four speeds and of course a Torque converter as well and yes the 450 had the 188 set at 52hp, cnt |

We have been pretty dry here. I have one 2 acre field that I just cut and baled. I could not believe it....sandy loan, high ground.....3 1800 lbs bales (soft core baler only makes one size)....only thing different... that's where I spread the chicken poo this spring!

This would have been a good year for drainage work. The beaver built a dam right over a wagon road and culvert here some years back. This would have been the perfect summer to push it over to where I wanted the dam. But, the D4 is in pieces at the moment and will be for some time. Figures, eh? |

I thought the Sodbuster bill was still in effect. I states under wetlands the a wetland (and size pond or lowland the local asa office say is) cannot be altered in any way.--drain, filled. That draining means cannot have holes drilled in it to drain or any ditch put in.. Also if you have a drainage ditch it cannot be made bigger or smaller. I have a drainage ditch that was put in before the law and I have to leace it alone. The picture is of this ditch runnin afer a big rain in 2010.
