You can thank Ken Updike, aka Bermuda Ken
(Carter and Gruenewald) for that. He worked for about a year getting the contracter to get those made correctly. I have 3 of those, not the stainless version though.

Hi Ken,
Are you in the muffler business? How about sending some pictures. Thank you.

I notice Steiners has ss mufflers listed. Are those the same as these? Just curious.

TIA

I'm not in the muffler manufacturing business. I'm an IH dealer that actually CARES about the older parts.

If we can't find a quality part, we sometimes have it made. Mufflers are an example of this.

The photo link is to the newly made M muffler we had built. This is availible in both alumized and polished stainless steel construction.

I have a bunch from Ken, and will agree that they are nice and sound great. Top notch guy to deal with as well.

you will also have to invest in a quality pair of sunglasses if you buy the stainless. I heard that Stevie Wonder had 20/20 vision before he put one of Ken's stainless steel mufflers on his M. So, be careful... Smile

Ken- How are those SS muffler clamps coming along?
