Need SOS help
I recently swapped for a a 4 cylinder 4000 with the SOS transmission. The previous owner could not make it run. When the starter was engaged it would spin 4-5 rounds then act like the battery died. wait 10 sec. or longer and it would do the same again. I felt like it was building hydraulic... -

Swapping sos to sos
Remove seat and cover that the seat sits on. That will expose the rear of the transmission so you can see any leaks from the rear of the transmission into the housing where the dipstick goes in. Refill the transmission, crank tractor and look for leaks from the transmission. -

Hard to steer Dexta
Yes I did take the steering wheel nut off and poured oil down the center of the shaft. That's all I have done. I'll check the thrust next. Thanks. Jim -

I have 3 Super Dextas that have gotten progressively harder to steer. What do I need to do to correct the problem. -

Here are some pictures of my Dexta with the 4 cylinder Perkins 4-203. The original engine was not worth repair, so I adapted the 4 cylinder to the tractor. I also put power steering on it. It was the tractor that was used for wagon backing at our show last Saturday.- agjim

Hello Majorman. The Dexta on the left with orange wheels has the exhaust on the wrong side for a diesel. Is it a gasoline version? We had our G Roundup tractor show in Hokes Bluff, Alabama Friday and Saturday, Oct. 13 and 14. The G Allis Chalmers were all built in Gadsden Alabama and we also...- agjim

2000 torque converter tractor
I have a 4 cylinder 2000 with the following numbers 2944A 212077 <>65363<>. What do these numbers mean? What was the intended use for this type tractor? What was the original colors? It does not have a PTO. Can you add PTO since it is a torque converter...
