RTU oil flowing out of magneto.

Thanks, these are the photos and I see nothing wrong with the passages, I can see all the way down in the crankcase, still not sure what the holes are for?

Thanks for the info, I’ll check it out. There is a hole that it looks like it drains back down to the crankcase have you ever seen that plugged? I was thinking about pouring some kerosene down through it.

Ill check out the passage ways, none of the manuals I have show the passages for the oil flow, I get about 25-30 lbs on the gauge.

IT Runs great, just after a while oil starts coming out of it. Thanks for all the info might have to bug you again. Ive done a lot of tractors but this is my first R . Didn't understand why they would have holes where the oil is supposed to come to.

They look like they are supposed to be there, but it doesn’t make since because of the oil that is pumped up to the mag drive?

    RTU oil seal in axel

I am having trouble getting this oil seal bearing holder off, the other side came right off it even had plugs you could take out and put bolts in to push it off, the left side does not. I can’t get it to budge at all. Any tricks? I need to get this seal changed. Thanks

I see that the newer ones have them but not sure about the older ones, is yours an early 40’s or one without the curtains? Some say no they don’t have them and some say they do so I’m guessing it’s a year thing, Thanks for the reply 😊
