Ford Dozer blade
I have one on a 3000 gas. Not terribly robust, this one has had a hard life. Check for cracks everywhere. Okay for snow or manure, not meant for dirt. -

Radiator Repair
Do very little to the outside, wash with garden hose to lose mud and dirt. Inside rinse and flush upside down and right side up. I clamped a rubber glove to allow leak test. I used a mammoth electric soldering iron to repair the side of one tube. Used jeweler's pliers to crimp edge. Tinned...- ErnieD

The disassembly, clean and lube with dielectric grease seems to have "done the trick". Had a fair bit of rain and no random triggers.- ErnieD

My GMC 2021 has dropped the tailgate twice, and there is a recall.... but my vin was not in the recall. I took the inside plastic tailgate cover off and inspected the switch. Pretty much like the keyfob of 20 years ago, gold grid which is activated with a carbon wafer. I cleaned it up, applied...- ErnieD

Our 3000 gas lost several teeth on the flywheel ring gear, engines in general are prone to stop in the same place. Pull the starter and visually inspect if there are missing ring gear teeth. Starter cables should not get warm unless starter is locked. As others have suggested, pull the plugs... -

Ford 3000 with Holley carb - rebuild or ebay replacement?
Here is my 2 cents. Putting a zenith carb on my brothers 3000 eliminated a lot of problems. I was in the holley twice. I am sure I missed something and there are skilled tech's that can set the holley right. The zenith played outta the box. Lets not forget the ethanol in today's fuel requires... -

Diesel and SOS make it a 801. If it coasts in 5th and has a hash marked gears early transmission. Poor tires, diesel, and SOS decrease value for most people. -

Ford 3000 power steering New fuel pump won't prime
Took the control valve apart and found 2 of the 3 springs broken. Replaced springs and resealed the control valve and sector box. Now have good power steering to the left, but no power assist to the right. The fuel pump was bypassed with a rubber line. Replaced the fuel pump and can not get it... -

Need help with ford 801 select o speed
120 is too low, you want 180 min. Dirty PRV or worn pump would be my first inclination. You do not want to start wrench turning until you have the appropriate service manual and service addendum.
