    Well I have this NOVO stationary engine. 3 1/4 bore 4 stroke serial number on tag etc, probably used as a water hog to irrigate possibly.. no clue, my friends late fathers estate Im helping with. Engine and frame 300+ lbs. cast iron Holley 356? Updraft carb. Any hints for its original use...

    Okay cool! I ll look at it more tomorrow. I never saw the tractor with the sheet metal on in person, I didn t know it had any until my client called last week and said he found it.

    Thus fuel tank Does sit and bolt to the instrument panel with two bolts. I ll try to get a better picture. Fits like a glove held in by 4 total bolts.

    The tractor is located in Olalla Washington. I m not the guy selling it, I m gust the guy fixing them and asking you wonderful humanz advice and opinions. Here is the fuel tank. As you can see it s bolted in above the battery like it s supposed to be.

    Oh Lordy that s true, shipping is a mess nester value killer. Mi have one last tractor to get running for him, an Oliver 70 gasoline powered giant tractor. That s going to be a challenge just finding the right carb I ll bet.

    Fuel tank is under the hood I just got done restoring it on the inside a few weeks ago. It doesn t have the rear fenders but basically everything else is there and it does have a PTO and tires are good and don t lose air

    Oh boy not good for my customer lol the tires are in great shape so nobody s gonna need any for a few years unless they are going to work this thing to the bone I would guess. It runs good I rebuilt the carburetor and the starter just a month ago for it it s got a new 6 V battery and everything...

    As far as I know, it s been like this about ten years, my customer thinks his father bought it this way and be instructed him to keep the valve closed, and inform whomever buys it that there s supposed to be a check valve in its place.

    So the right side as viewed had the mushroom cap vent for the case, and the left portion had a pressure pop off valve.. So if the working pressure bc exceeds the rating ov the valve the fluid would squirt out that valve? It seems dangerous to do that so close to the human private zone.

    Thank you Bob, so that s a working pressure relieve valve plummed back into the case for the transmission. And basically the valve can stay open or stay close for just bing up and down the driveway pushing snow or leaves etc?
