ATV/lawn mower hydraulic lift
I use a Mojack EZ Max lift that I bought at Family Farm and Home. It takes a while to set up, but easily lifts the front of my 1100 lb ZTR. Broken down, it doesn't take a lot of room to store. You can remove the jack handle and operate it with an impact driver, but I've never bothered to do... -

Controlled conditions would be where the purported dowser doesn't already know the approximate location of the buried object, and there are no obvious clues as to where it might be. -

Simpson analog multi meters?
DC volts doesn't work. It could probably be brought back to like with some contact cleaner, but I have a thirty-year-old Fluke 77 that works just fine and fits in my tool bag. -
What size is M24X2 Castle Nut?
Just as a 1/2 inch wrench doesn't fit a 1/2 inch bolt head, a 24 mm wrench won't fit an M24 nut.- MarkB_MI

Yeah, but you'll have to buy the whole set. HF no longer sells individual wrenches. I usually buy big sockets at my nearby Ace Hardware, which carries Craft$man. For a cheaper tool, Home Depot sells individual sockets but I don't know that they carry the really large sizes.- MarkB_MI

I still have a Simpson 260 I was issued back in 1979. It doesn't work so I don't use it. A friend of mine worked at an army avionics shop back in the seventies. He said that somebody in the shop discovered that the Simpson 260 front panel and back cover could be ordered separately as repair... -

It depends on the species. An American elm branch will always give the depth in feet, regardless of what country you're in. But a communist Chinese elm branch will be calibrated in meters. -

Gasoline dye
Does it have an hourmeter? You probably know how many hours you can expect to get out of a tank of petrol. Write down the hours somewhere with a grease pencil when you fill it up and you'll know how many hours you have left in the tank. -
Mystery padlock
That company probably made tens of thousands of those locks. I feel like I've seen one, but can't say when or where. But now, of course, they are totally useless. The last rotary phone switches were removed years ago. -
