    8n funk 6 starter issue

    if you can get the piece tacked back together, i think i'd take the piece to a machine shop and possibility have one built. save the old one for a pattern. being cast by funk, i'd imagine a replacement. may be hard to source. good luck

    NH 315 Baler

    i currently use a 315 NH baler. i believe it is a updated 276 as they look alike when side by side. i usually use a ford 3930 when baling, but have in the past used a 3600 and a 860. my fields are pretty flat as well. good luck.

    Tig welder

    the aluminum has a oxide coating on it that melts at a higher temperature than the aluminum. removing the oxide makes welding the aluminum easier. buy a good stainless-steel brush for cleaning the aluminum. don't use the brush for anything else. some people will tell you to use brake clean to...

    if it has a porcelain resistor for the points, make sure the start side of switch is not wired through it. my engines need full voltage for starting it seems. good luck

    the cheapest helmet at the local welding store will probably be lots better than the most expensive big box store helmet. try them all on. get one that fits and is comfortable. good luck
