    Ford Dozer blade

Some of the main frame might be there, hidden. Because that is what the lower portion of the lift cylinder mounts to, and you can see that bracket.

    Turf tires for ford 3000

Dave - I think you are likely looking for essentially the same tire size, but a different tread pattern. The Maxam Tire website has a good description of the various options.

    Ford Dozer blade

It’s tough to see, but the main frame is the portion that extends forward to the bottom of the cylinder, and goes back to the bottom middle of the tractor. It attaches to the tractor in two places. Attached is a photo out of the assembly instructions.

    Ford Dozer blade

Agree Agree with Ernie. Decent snow blade. Will need to lock spring trip release if you push anything more significant.

1971 Ford 4000 3cyl gas has starting and stopping issue(fickle)

Had same issue with our 4000 SU…. Turned out to be loose ground at frame end. Perhaps check/clean/tighten all four main battery cable ends?

    Ford 660 barely runs.

Ok… Maybe give the sprayed gas technique a try. I find it’s a great method to determine if you have a fuel supply issue. Most vehicles will run surprisingly well if you continue to spray small amounts into the carburetor. I have also found that by running an engine in this way for a bit, you...

    Ford 660 barely runs.

If you spray some gas (use an old spray bottle) directly into the carburetor (with air filter tube removed), and quickly try to start it, what happens?

    May 4 tractor

Has anyone seen anything like this before? A chopper mounted to the front corner of a 4wd tractor? Or is there a self propelled chopper hiding over there, and the Stieger is just pulling the wagon?

    P68 komatsu dozer

Oh man, I am far from a Komatsu, of that era, expert (joined Cat in 88). I will say that generally Komatsu dozers are well built (good competition to Cat), but don’t have quite the product support (parts & technical information) of the similar era Cat machines. That being said, all older...

    P68 komatsu dozer

Perhaps you mean Komatsu D68P-1 or D68E-1? Both of these models were made from about 1988 - 1992.

    Gravity feed diesel tank recommendations

And one more comment on installation. I had two opposing thoughts on how best to position the tank relative to 100% level. One could be to slightly angle it up at the outlet (so that water collects in the back of the tank, to be drained out the hole opposite of the main outlet). The other...

    Gravity feed diesel tank recommendations

Yes… For the amount of gas we use (mostly my 90 year old mother), this works great. I just don’t need her toting 5 gallon cans. It came with a filter on it. I replaced it with new. Flows good. Not fast (which is a good thing). As others have mentioned, if you’re regularly filling up big...

    Gravity feed diesel tank recommendations

Agree with Jon. I got this one for just about the value of the fuel that was in it. In addition to a quick inspection of the tank condition, look for legs that are not bent, and have good cross bracing.

    Trucking tires

Agree that 2 way trailer rentals with UHaul are the way to go. Others here might better understand how UHaul works, but it seems they are OK priced on one way truck rentals (and they must expect that everything gets mixed around as needed naturally), but with trailer rentals the local lots seem...

Ford 800 The good the bad and the Ugly?

Sam - If you know the owner, that does go a long way. $2k might not be a bad price. Sure would first like to know where that oil leak is coming from though.
