    I had a mini-rod back in the 70's. Was running a built 327 Chevrolet. With 2.02 heads and one Carb. Did real good. But things progressed and our motor wasn't enough. Could just turn wheels in the 80's. You can't imagine how hard a mini-rod can jerk you, and then turn 90 degrees and turn over...

    We have a hyd top link. Can move it on the go. With the top link short the teeth will cut hard ground. In the middle the box will fill. With as long as will go the box will empty very smoothly.

    My son is going to put a 426 Waukesha in his 77. He took a 310 Diesel out. There are tube frames out there. With a thin piece of sheet metal on the outside. With a steel frame you can weld your motor mounts where you want to. And you save hundreds of pounds.
