    Thanks Destroked! Didn't know that even existed! Will definitely check it. Based on the schematic you provided (Thank you!) Do you know if that filter can be accessed by removing just the top large nut on the body, or do you have to also remove all four screws on the face?

    Thanks Sean! Is that the case with both the 2810 and 5600 - can't raise the 3pt when the aux hydro is activated? I was also thinking about a T but was a little concerned about what the pressure would be in the return line on a 16GPM PTO hydro pump.

    Nope. I have two pair of hydro ports for valves under the seat, but those are for 3pt attachments. If I don't have these, am I able to access the PTO clutch pack from the top instead of splitting?

    Meant to say load monitor. I was cutting a bunch of saplings (1-2") yesterday with my brush mower, and the PTO bogged then started to slip. Guessing I wiped out the clutch disks. I've only had the tractor a few years - hard to tell how far gone the plates were before I got the tractor.

    Thanks Ultradog. Ill stay on the hunt for a 2000 8 speed transmission. Got a quote for $3000 to rebuild the SOS, just not worth the hastle. With that said, if you know of any good 2000 manual transmissions between the Twin Cities and Duluth, let me know.

    Ford 5600 Diesel oil filter

    Good point! I filled the engine with the stated "9 quarts", but was way high on the dip stick. If the 9 quart capacity is assuming a 2 quart filter, actually using a 2-quart filter would make up the difference.
