Snowblower on a Ford 640?
I know the Ford 640 is not an ideal tractor for a three-point hitch snowblower. Reverse gear is too fast and there's no two-stage clutch. Still, I wonder -- how bad is the performance for a 60-inch wide blower on maybe a 4 or 6 inch snowfall? I imagine moving 10 or 12 inches or more will be too... -

Fenders vs. tire chains
I have to remove the fenders when I set up my Ford 640 for winter with a snowplow and tire chains. If the fenders remain on the tractor the chains rub against the fender supports creating a lot of annoying noise. Pin holding fork to lift arm
I'm trying to replace the hydraulic lift leveling box assembly on a Ford 600. The bolt that holds the fork to the lift arm is resisting removal. After removing the nut, it appears driving out the bolt should work but so far no luck. Can someone suggest a better idea before I go for a bigger hammer?
