    installed a new ring gear on my 8n and not the starter just spins and motor wont turn ,went to my starter and alternator man he said starter was good that the ring gear is slipping its been on for about 4 months no trouble at all starting ,any ideas. does the ring gear go flush with the flywheel...

    i have a 8n and has been running good ,day before yesterday it started skipping a little. yesterday it wouldnt hardly start and when it did it spitted and skipped and today it wont start at all just turn over took distriburator off looked okay reset points and still wont start got 12 volts down...

    working on my case 480b brakes new shoes ect tried to get (shims) off and they dont want come off its like they are stuck anyone know a good way to get them off i need to put seals on really a pain everything was rusty very dirty probably not touched at all for a long time thanks for any ideas...

    replaced all electrical parts except wires getting a small orange fire on plug wires and it sounds like its skipping but will run okay checked plugs with a spark plug tester and it isnt firing on 1/2 very weak fire on 3/4 what should i check next RUNNING A 12 VOLT COIL
