    I also have a Tesoro Sidewinder. What I like about it is it VERY light. Takes one 9 volt battery. No meters, just listen to the sound with headphones on. DOUG

    Cub Cadet i1042 issues

    T.R.K. It is the primary drive belt which goes around the pulley under the engine. The deck has an electronic start. All the wires are broken, looks like a hard pull on them. Think it's beyond my skill set NOT knowing where they are supposed to go. If I knew would fix it myself. DOUG

    We have a Kubota BX2200 which won't start. All checks out fine, however no power to the starter. Neutral start is in place, pto not in gear, everything checks out but no start. Think the starter died. Kubota wants 350 dollars for a new starter. Have been using the i1042. Has a timed deck, so...

    Cub Cadet i1042 issues

    We have the Kubota BX2200 up and running. The PTO lever must not have been disengaging all the way. Got ticked off, kept changing between front, middle, and rear PTO. Also yanked hard on the PTO lever. Now it works! Big issue now is the i1042. At least the Kubota is back. DOUG

    I don't stand to make a single cent from this, however I would recommend HyCapacity. Look them up, they do have a brand new water pump for your tractor. Just look up Deere 4230 then put water pump in the search engine. At this time you will need to buy new, no remans available. DOUG[/u]

    Back when I was a parts manager at a Case-IH dealer in the 80's we NEVER installed a NEW Case-IH alternator unless the unit was under warranty. Failure rate on them was 20 to 50 percent. The failure rate on reman alternators we got from HyCapacity was very low. They are the same company we got...
