What else can you use a combine for?

I've seen a few where people have put PTO snowblowers on the front in place of the header.

1946 JOHN DEERE LA rear plow attachment

It looks like the operator's manual is DIR336 and is available for free download on the John Deere publications website. It looks like it has a few good pictures of the mounting. https://techpubs.deere.com/en-US/Search/Equipment

    New John Deere 40 owner

Knowing that the temporary goal is just to get it as a roller so you can work on it, could you use something like a SBPF206-20 bearing flange to replace your cast part and bearing to get it mobile and allow you time to find the right part or get yours fixed...

My latest "what is it" acquisition.

I like to contribute to this forum, but don’t do so unless I’m darn near 100% sure my input is right. Based on what I found on this one, I was confident I had figured it out.

My latest "what is it" acquisition.

Never played a round of tenis in my life. I “cheated” and used reverse image search and that led me down an internet rabbit hole where I found that eBay link.

Can I put 730 LP pistons in a 630 engine?

A 630 isn't a very common tractor for pulling due to the weight, but I'm sure you are aware of that. If you are going to spend the money to bore and sleeve it, I'd find a piston with more bore and compression than a 730. If you aren't going to stroke it, you will probably need to lengthen the...

620 Radiator Bottom tank on a 1955 60? Bad crack, need replacement.

Looking at the parts book that is the correct bottom tank if your 60 has a pressurized cooling system. The cores appear to be the same part number (AA5582R) with either system.

    Wartime front spoke wheel

I posted a request on a John Deere A page on FB and did have an individual reply that has a pair of them for sale. If you use FB, I can contact you and share the link to that post and you can reach out to them. No idea on price, looks like location is Iowa.

    unstyled JDA cam shaft removal

MSD alluded to it. If you are going to replace the bearing anyway, you can just break it (good chance it will come apart anyway if you try and put a puller on it). If I remember correctly, the gear will clear the inner race. After the gear is off then you can heat, cut, weld on, or whatever...

    John Deere B intake hose

This info was off of the John Deere print for the part number. Material called out is SAE 20R2, Class R, Grade 2, Light Wall. It is possible one document or the other was updated over the years to make it common with something used on a newer machine. Either would probably work.

    John Deere B intake hose

According to Deere, B77R is 1.875 inch ID, 0.19 inch wall, 4.00 inch long.
