1855 white smoke

I have an old 1855 we use for odd jobs. When you first start you get a lot of white smoke. Oil is fine, not discolored or water in oil when change. Water level may be decreasing slightly. I assume it's water is leaking? Best additive to add to coolant or other ideas?

Yes it clears after awhile. Good coolant additive or what. Don't want to spend much but had this tractor 40 plus years and handy to have in yard for odd jobs. Thanks

Get your pocket book dialed in for a head gasket job.
Look on right side of the block,
1755 here did that, someone didn't get the block/head decked machined correctly.
Also could be that O-ring sealing failure inside, just ever so slightly, are you gaining in the crankcase?
Keep us posted. GG Wes
