Anyone know if a pedestal from a 1950 John Deere A would fit on a 1944 John Deere A? I'm think that the holes are in different spots

(quoted from post at 06:05:50 12/18/23) The parts catalog, PC675, shows two different pedestals for a '44A and a '50A.
You'll need to find a pedestal from an early-styled A to fit on your '44A.
I figured. It also looks like the earlier ones wouldn t work either, just 39-47. One of the guys in town was pulling logs and cracked the housing

When Deere changed to the stamped steel ront frame they changed the bolt pattern alittle. I have
seen an older A with a rollamatic front end, but didn't talk to the man that owned it, possible
retrofitted it.
