Would anyone happen to have this article by Joe Evans, or know if there is an updated link? I could not locate the article, or Mr. Evans through some forum searches, but I certainly could have made an error.

Thanks for any assistance!

Maybe someone will come up with it. In the meanwhile
if you have some hydraulic problems why not post the
Make and model of the tractor and give a short
description. Someone here may be able to help you
out. From what I see Joe Evans was not really a genius.
He just had trouble with the pilot valve on his IH
machine and apparently posted a run down of how to
he went about fixing it. I say he is not a genius because
he was asking how to fix his problem in one of the YT
posts that came up when I was search for the article.

Thanks much. I did somehow stumble onto the article here:

The issue is that the hydraulics (loader, fast hitch, and power steering) occasionally stop functioning. The power steering is totally gone, and trying to raise the loader results in it lowering. This typically happens after, say, 10 min to 2 hr of use, and does not seem predictable. I have managed to get it back to the shed before the loader gets too low, but when I use the tractor next, it seems to function ok for a while. I changed the hydraulic fluid and filter last fall (second time that year to flush out the system as best I could), and will do so again this spring.

Somewhat unrelated, but it's like whack-a-mole with hydraulic leaks on this tractor, all minor leaks at this point.
