Follow up on ta. Got ta clufch shaft out, had to cut clutch out. It was rusted to bad. Teeth on ta are twisted looking. The rear planetary gears look good. Do you think it's ok to use? Coppling will still hold own teeth.If I coukd find a new ahaft ans coppling, how bad is it to take the whole ta apart? I was just going to take apart to put in a new sprag clutch, but did not want to take apart planetary gears.Was scared of needle bearing.Also, looks like oil seal behind that shaft. Can you replace that seal without taking ta all the way apart?

The drive splines are beyond usability. Would they work Probably, but they would not work long, and would wear the mating internal splines so they would be bad as well. looking at the coast side of the splines, their edge is still straight. so all the twist is actual wear on the drive side. If you are just replacing the ramp and rollers the 3 sunglasses don't need to come out but to replace the Topsham everything needs to come out. Ag Parts has the ta or the Parts to build your own. If you need assembly and teardown help just let me know.
