Got a knot on my leg getting off my 8n to turn my blade. nice snowstorm on Christmas eve.Shinbusting Dan.

OUCH!! Easy to do but in 70 years, I haven't. Ford recognized that big feet and boots could get tangled with the shift lever. The 8N shift lever can be lifted up and rotated toward the dash to provide easier on and off.

Take some short bolts and put them in the floor board holes so the ends stick up say a 1/4 inch or so. That way they will act like spikes on your shoes just in reverse

Never heard of that. Are you saying that if you lift the shift lever up, you can push it all the way forward and it won't be in any gear?

Then how do you get it back to where it needs to be?

I don't dare to do that on my MF202 or the lever will jam up. Then have to remove the filler plug and stick something in and manually move the gears to get it back correctly. I jammed it up a couple times before I finally learned to be gentle with it.

Yep, this global warming crap is a real bummer.

That's why we don't hear the money grabbers referring to global warming anymore. It's always climate change which will always be with us.
