Juice ran out of my 18v Li DeWalt battery

I'm not going to touch the battery.
It will be recycled at Battery plus.
Never seen this before.
Battery voltage when the zero.
What would have leaked out of a Li battery?
The battery was never rained on or gotten wet..
Date code shows battery is a 2016.

Probably something like the slime that comes out of alkaline batteries. Shouldn't happen but it does. I would put it outside until you get rid of it.

I wouldn't have expected to see a slime leak out. Something new to me.
Maybe I should call ghost busters to see if they slimed it.
