M narrow front hub

I bought a front pedestal for the M and it has some unusual hub attachment to me. What are these types of hubs for?

its not like them caps are found on every tractor is all.

Those were special hub caps that went on in
conjunction with an implement.

Its just the cap that's different. Standard
caps can be put back on. Probably what I'd
do if I didn't have the implement that they
were for.

Thanks for the info, I'll swap the hub caps along with the wide front end.

Think the only pickers that used them were the 2M, the 2ME, and the #24 sweet corn picker.

Those caps have no use if on a wide front.
Those caps were used in conjunction with
the narrow front set up.

If your putting the narrow front on, and
going to part ways with the wide front, the
next guy will not need those style of caps.
I'm pretty sure they were only needed on a
narrow front.
Just saying. If that's the case, the next
guy will want the caps less than you do
right now.
