MF 135 backfire upddate

I mentioned that my MF 135 often backfired when throttling down quickly from a higher rpm. Many gave suggestions but I want to thank Frankmn who suggested it may be a problem in the exhaust system. I replaced the gasket between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust pipe and I have used the tractor 3 times in the last few days and the problem has not re-occurred. I may have indeed solved the problem and if so, many thanks to all respondents and especially to Frankmn. My own mechanic doubted this would be the issue.
