MARTIN, MICHEAL HENRY, age 57, of Rosebush, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023, at his home.
Funeral Services for Mike will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 11 a.m. A luncheon will immediately follow in Reflections Reception Center. Burial will take place at Gilmore Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund or HATS. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Mike was born June 27, 1966, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Stephen and Anna (Blodgett) Martin. He was a graduate of Shepherd High School with the class of 1984. Mike worked the past 10 years in the custodial department at CMU. Prior to that, he was an ICTC driver for 25 years. He married Shelly Pasch in April 2004, and she preceded him in death on May 17, 2023. Mike loved his tractors and John Wayne. He liked going to auction sales and thrift shopping with Shelly.
Mike is survived by his brother Steve (Dottie) Martin of Shepherd; sisters Amy (Lee) Engler of Cadillac, Val Hine of Ashley, IN; his boys Oscar and OJ; best friend Jim (Lisa) Leiferman of Shepherd; and many nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; wife Shelly; brother David Martin; and his grandparents
