Mitsubishi D1850 Voltage Regulator

Hi. I own a Mitsubishi D1850 tractor. Despite many voltage regulators , the regulators seem to drain the battery. They do seem to charge just fine. The ignition switch was replaced and the connections were confirmed correct. I can't help but think these chinese parts are the issue. The tractor always ran excellently. Any feedback? Thanks.

Have you checked the alternator itself?

Could be a shorted diode.

Or you could replace the original alternator with a more common Delco 10SI if
there is room.

Personally I would hunt down the source of the problem as I enjoy a good challenge.
If your not up for that then there is always Option #2.
