Picture Day

Cleaned up and washed the tractors we used. No shows or pulls this year so we decided to start them all, wash, and lube them. Son took this pic from the roof of calf barn.

What a difference fifty years makes. From 1957 thru 1969 we farmed with these three. Bought the first 870 in 1970.

These are the ones that get the most hours.
2390 - notill drill, forage blower, manure spreader, manure pump
870/cab - sprayer
870 - corn planter, manure spreader, manure pump
870 - merger, manure spreader, manure pump
800 - till compost barn, spread bedding
630 - hay tedder
350 - hay rake
These get used when needed
1470 - forage blower, manure pump, field cultivator
300 - grain drill
F200 - seed tender, fert tender
Garden duty
Super A
Cub cadet
Others
800 - scraper to groom pulling track
830 - has 336 turbo mostly toy but fun to hook to the manure spreader
500b - 301 combine engine toy
DC - Stock puller
VC's - seldom used
RC - 20 qt ice cream freezer, only 2 batches this year.

870's and 2390 do the bulk of the work. 630, 350 tedder and rake duty. 830 will pull a box spreader on occasion. We try to find something for most of them to do occasionally. The RC, DC, and VC's are a limited by lack of hydraulics.
