I bet there are going to be some creatures that will like your shelter. lol My wood pile is a bunch of logs that I won't mess with until it cools this fall.

Have to say that looks like a mouse condo. And I agree some ventilation would likely be a good thing.

Are you trying to hide it? Wood needs to dry and have air flow.

Around here the condensation under there would be terrible. Wood would rot without air circulation.

I agree with SMS.........covering the top only will allow the wood to season better.
Having the wood up off the ground allows even more air to circulate.
What little rain or snow that blows in will not hinder the drying much at all.
I hadn't quite gotten the pile fully covered when this picture was taken.

I agree with sms, I always pile mine up on pallets and only cover the top.

I never covered my wood pile just pile it with 2 skids under it and the bark side up. Always had good dry wood.
