Pulling rear hubs 8N

I've seen other posts from those having difficulty pulling the rear hubs. After trying the various methods with no success, I thought I would post what worked for me. I removed the axle assembly with bearing retainer and brake anchor plate attached. I used the lug nuts to mount the brake drum to the hub along with some washers to spread the load. I put the assembly on my press and pressed the axle through the hub.

I just use a hub puller, tool is probably 60 or more years old but they still sell them today. I think mine is a Snap on. bolt it onand hit it with a hammer and off comes the hub.
