Reasonable Price on a Hydro 84

According to the ad it has no forward or reverse. What could be wrong with it?

I wonder if the PTO works?

If NOT it could be a broken flex plate or stripped splines there.

I recently visited with a fellow who was selling a 656 hydro that he said at one time it had stripped the splines connecting the hydro motor to the transmission.

So in addition to all the hydro issues that can happen sometimes a loss of movement can be purely mechanical!

This past winter I put a flex plate in a hydro 70 which the owner thought that his
hydro had died and would need rebuilt. Would not move forward or reverse and also no
hydraulics or pto.

I love how sellers try to downplay MAJOR issues.

"maybe hydralic pressure issue" Uhh, YEAH, a $7500 hydraulic pressure issue.

"smokes and knocks and pushes oil out the breather, probably just needs an adjustment..."
