When I was a kid my dad had a TE 20. Now I see articles about TE 20 and TEA 20 what is the difference. Thanks

First big difference.....

TEA-20 has an English 4 cylinder engine....
Most parts are not interchangeable between the TE 20 Engine and the TEA-20 Engine..

If you live in Canada, as well as most member countries of the British commonwealth countries, the TEA-20 was imported from England by the 1000's...

Following on from John Deere D

The engine in the TEA was built by the Standard Motor Company in the UK. This engine in various forms was used in Standard Vanguard cars and Triumph TR sports cars, as well as 'fergy' tractors. It has wet cylinder liners so is very easily reconditioned. It was also adapted for use as a diesel but not as sucessful as the petrol (gas) version.
