Year of NH disc mower

I have a New Holland 462 disc mower and I am not able to determine the year of it which makes it difficult to order the right parts for it. The serial # is V2355. any help will be appreciated. TIA

Who is asking you for the year? If there are updates which require different parts, the dealer goes by serial number, not year.

Year of manufacture is not tracked and published online for implements like it is with old tractors.

462 mowers were built from 1977 - 1995, as said above parts changes goes by the machines serial number

Thanks for the info, I thought the first letter in the serial # might designate the year.
