    I had a friend locate a well for me. He marked it as 20 gpm, at 80 feet. At 75 feet, the well driller was skeptical in a still dry hole. 3 feet of really hard rock later he broke through into a vein of water. Would run 20 gpm easily. Myself, I can find septic tanks, not much else.

    Plow days and trailer plows

    This is how I have done it. I load the plow with a loader at home, back the tractor on and hook up. I bring a length of 2x8 to make an extra ramp for the tail wheel. Done plowing, I drive on and head home.

    Screwdrivers are one of the better buys on tool trucks. You will wear out screwdrivers no matter what brand. The tool trucks will replace/rebuild them for free.

    Exhaust Stud Repair

    This is my go to method. I have removed many broken manifold studs in this fashion. I clean the end of the stud with a burr or stone in a dremel. Then use a mig welder to build up the stud and add the washer and nut. I usually dap on some wax while it is hot. Then with a wrench, work it back...

    Shop Wiring

    What I like about EMT is 2 clips per 10 ft and you can have nice straight runs. PVC sags and droops and is worse the warmer it is.

    New tractor without DEF as a selling point?

    At least a couple years ago it was 27 hp. My 2020 B2650 Kubota does not have emissions controls at all. I would have liked the B3350, but that had a DPF so I stuck with the smaller one.

    Another Ford 801 fuel return line thead

    As John in LA said, fixing the standpipe mitigates the issue, but does not correct it. If the returns are leaking under the valve cover the only fix is to get in there and repair. Aside from that, if you have never been in the pump, it is worth you time to get seals and a new governor dampener...

    Heavy trucks all use battery connections that are 3/8 studs. Mostly eliminates connection issues. My larger tractors get converted to studs as I change them to group 31 batteries.

    Many of today’s car have so much built into that cable clamp that you have to replace the harness. It is not a simple cut the end off and crimp on a new one.
