    Question on Farmall 300

    What dos everyone think about pulling a 13 foot JD BW tandem disk with the 300? Think it would have enough power???? It does have the adjustable angle of the disk gangs on it. I've never tried pulling this type of disk with a 300.

    Anyone have experience with an IH 56 planter?

    I bought a 56 planter last fall to plant CRP food plots of milo. I have it all set up and ready to use, but the manual says to change the pins up or down for 1/2 inch depth change. Only question is does any one have experience with this planter as to where about 1 inch is for a depth setting?

    300 Hydraulic update

    I got up to the arm today and put the cleaned filter back into the tractor. I don't remember this when I first changed the fluid about 15 to 20 years ago, but the filter will only match the 4 bolt holes one way. So it didn't matter about the half baffle in the filter. Not sure how it went in...

    300 Farmall Hydraulic help

    Has anyone found a way to drain the hydraulic reservoir to remove the brass filter one 300 Farmall without getting oil all over the deck, tractor, under the reservoir. I wanted to drain the oil today and let it drain until I get back in a couple of weeks and my nice clean tractor is now oil...

    For those who have had this planter, what size hydraulic cylinder was on the planter? The parts manual shows a 2 1/2, 3 and 4 inch by 8 inch cylinder.

    Final update on filler plates for 56 Planter

    I need help with a 56 planter finding the part number for a sorghum filler plate with the seed plate. The part number I have for the seed plate is 483 022-R1. But what is the correct number for the filler plate???? I have come up with different ones.
