1650 pto Shaft removal

I need to pull the engine out of 1650 cockshutt. Can I remove the pto shaft from the back? The motor and TA are being pulled out to fix TA

Yes. you have to remove the long pto shaft to pull the motor and Hydra Power Drive. Check out Chris Losey on You Tube, he has lots of Oliver repair videos.

Three bolts between the clutch and the rear cover. The bearing is a little snug, probably need a pry bar to pull it out. Two sets of splines to line up through the idler gear for the hydraulic pump as it comes out. Don't just yank it
