1655 Dual Speed PTO

My 1655 has dual speed PTO. How do you change from 540 to 1000 RPM? Will the 1000 RPM shaft from my 1850 work on it or do I need a special one? Thanks, Chris

You change speeds simply by swapping shafts. You need both shafts. The 1000 rpm shaft is a little longer and picks up a different set of splines. No, they don't interchange. You confirmed dual speed by looking at the splines?

based on my memory of our 1650, and our current 2-105, you will need a separate shaft. The one from your 1850 is different, I would think.
