424 vs 2424?

There is a 424 parts tractor coming up at auction locally soon. Will most of the parts on it work for my 2424? Both are gas. I never actually knew what the difference was between the two models, other than my 2424 has 24 rims, and at least this parts 424 has 28 rims.

ONE difference is that the industrial ''2424'' has a heavier front axle.

I think the hydraulics may have some differences. I purchased a 2424 to use for parts for my 424. To bad we are on opposite sides of the country. Mike
