Is it normal to have some play in the water pump pulley or shaft? I wouldnt consider it wobbly but you can move it in/out by hand. I noticed a rattling noise coming from the front of the tractor earlier. I thought it may have been a loose panel or something but its definitely coming from the pulley or the shaft the pulley rides on. Its not leaking, no overheating issues. Luckily I dont use it much during the winter months so Ive got some time to make repairs if needed. The movement at this point is minimal but I dont want it to develop into a bigger problem later. Is it time to replace the pump? I posted a picture for reference.
