Mf65 gas tractor & noticed the bolt without pin & cotter key. Should there be one? First picture is the head of bolt & second picture is the bolt without a pin & cotter key.

There should be a lynch pin in that hole.

Also looks like you are missing a nut on one of the axle housing studs.

yes, if that pin starts to back out and gets far enough for your lift to catch it, it's gonna be a bad day!

Other pins look like hitch pins. Doesn't look like the right pieces being used.

The studs that hold the bell-shaped axle housings to the center casting that all the toplink stuff is pinned to. In your first picture where the chain drops from the pin that you are asking about it appears a stud is missing.

Just to the left of your red circle on your first picture. A threaded stud sticking out without a nut on it. If one is missing, it might be worth going over the whole tractor to see what else is loose or missing. steve
