H-16 series sickle mower on Farmall H

I want to install a IHC Series 16 (Similar to 21-24) on a Farmall H and it just mounts on a hole in the draw bar and is retained by a safety bar. Does not seem like the PTO will line up very well as the
draw bar is 15 1/2 high and it needs to be about 12 off the ground. Was there a special wishbone draw bar and braces used only to install the sickle mowers?Cleddy

If it was on an A or B, the drawbar mounts & PTO hookup won't be the same as what's needed for the H or M. There's a cheap manual listed on eBay that would probably help you out. It's item number 134516641403. No affiliation/not my manual for sale. There are a few others listed on there that have several pages scanned. Maybe you can tell what's going on from those pics.

Oh now it makes sense? They had a Special Drawbar and braces to use with the mower in place of what comes with the tractor. Looking at used parts on E-bay impossible to find one?? No wonder so much stuff gets Farmerized? Cleddy
