Need help identifying tractor ford i just got numbers i found behind stater 5G8P 44022G C1123235J7 supposed

If they were stamped into the flat spot near the starter, then they will tell you about the tractor that the transmission was in when it left the factory

44022G is the model number, which was a 4400, which is actually a Utility model even though most folks call them an Industrial model. It left the factory with a gas engine, trans driven (non-live) PTO and a 4x4 manual reversing transmission.

C112323 is the serial number. It is a serial number for a tractor that was assembled at the US assembly plant in 1965.

5J7 and 5G8P both look like date codes, but the last P is most likely actually a B, which would mean that the transmission was assembled on July 8 1965 during the day shift and the tractor was assembled on September 7 1965.
