IH460U dripping hydro fluid from steering valve

I have slowly been fixing the leaks in my work tractor but it unfortunately developed a new, worsening one. The power steering control valve that the steering wheel/shaft goes through is leaking from the plug. It appears that the plug was designed to have a hole it it to allow the leaking fluid to weep. Once my hydro fluid gets hot it becomes a fast drip. I'm not sure if its because the fluid gets thinner as it heats up or that its not venting properly from somewhere else. The plug that leaks is between the power steering hard lines on that control body.

I found this YouTube video hopefully it will help. Not
sure if this guy knows what he is talking about or not I
have no experience with those gears boxes. He talks
about an expansion plugs that he has seen leak on
those models. I am not sure if it is the same one you
are talking about or not. He got a replacement from a
dealer and said nothing about it being drilled as a vent.
All I can tell you is give it a look. What I can tell you for
sure is the obvious. When the tractor was new it did
not leak, orings, seals, gaskets or something in there
need to be replaced. Or you can choose to replace it
with a used one or replace it with a rebuilt unit which I
am not sure if one is even available. The 2nd link is to
the online parts catalog for the steering unit.

Looking at the video I'd guess my o-rings on the thrust washer on top of the control spool are worn. Mine actually leaked at the steering wheel nut when I put a dab of wet silicone in the weep hole, but only after it gets sufficiently hot. The video shows all the lines are used but mine has an empty hole with the plug with a hole in it. I figured it was like some single action hydraulic cylinders, has to have a relief for any fluid that gets past the seals.
