John Deere plow

Hello all I have a John Deere plow that I'm trying to identify. I think it's a John Deere No.44 but I hoping maybe you guys could confirm what it is. thanks

Also I need to replace the Rims so I was wondering if a set of steel wheels from a No.51 or No.52 would work on a 44?

It appears from viewing parts catalogs that model 52 & 44 have different type wheel boxes so it will surprise me if steel wheels will interchange.

Here is my 2 bottom JD plow. Is it a 44 or 52? Thanks. From your pics it looks like someone has removed the original break-away hitch???

It's a 52 or a 4B plow. Show us a picture of the hub cap on the furrow wheel. A 52 has a flat cap held on with 3 bolts. If you measure from the tip of the point to the bottom of the frame it is 21" on a 52 and 23" on a 4B.

If you look on the beams there should be some numbers if they are 610,611,612 or 613 its a #52 plow. Tom in Mn.
