The serial number tag is on the left hand side of the machine, affixed to the bell housing. That will be the easiest, but not only way we can help you date your tractor.

If that tag is missing there is a number on the block just below where the head joins .... towards the back.....

I did see that. I looked it up and I believe it’s telling me that it’s a 64 but I thought they changed them to 12 volt in 63. This is a 6 volt.

The number does indicate that it was made in March of '64.

It's not entirely impossible that it was ordered as a 6v tractor. Especially if it was ordered as part of a batch.
